GM warns Corvette drivers new valet mode may be illegal.

Earlier this summer, General Motors (GM) came out with a new “valet mode” for its latest Corvette sports cars. Call it a nanny cam for your car or the Ferris Bueller provision (remember this scene?) GM called it “a baby monitor for your baby.” Essentially, the technology allows you to record video, audio and driving data from the car when you’re not using it. Sounds great, right? With base prices starting at about $55,000, it’s no wonder GM is trying to help you protect your investment (after all, who wouldn't want to take this so-called supercar for a joyride?)
